Expert Consultation Workshop on Improving the Habitat Map of Vojvodina

The round table with stakeholders regarding the Habitat Map of Vojvodina was held on December 3rd 2025, at BioSense Institute in Novi Sad. The participants of the round table were conservation and botany experts from the Institute for Nature Conservation of Vojvodina Province, PE “Vojvodinašume”, different universities and protected areas.

The main objective of the event was to bring together expertise and experience of relevant stakeholders, in order to jointly improve the process of obtaining the habitat map, identify key gaps and opportunities, and ensure that the final product is practically applicable, scientifically based and aligned with the real needs of users.

In order to achieve this, together with the stakeholders, we discussed topics such as data collection and methodology, stakeholder needs and goals, Habitat Map use and improvement, as well as future co-creation opportunities.
