NbS Spatial model tool demo workshop

The Workshop on NbS Spatial Tool Demonstration (in person, with online attendance) will be a hands-on event aimed at showcasing the demo version of the NbS spatial model and the associated optimization tools. During this workshop, we will focus on the challenge of (near-)optimal application of nature-based solutions (NbS), such as flower strips, to maximize crop yield, pollinator diversity, and soil organic carbon sequestration.

Accordingly, the workshop will emphasize the spatial model and optimization approaches being developed to support the identification of optimal locations for NbS implementation. The event will bring together the SONATA team and other researchers working on spatial optimization tasks across different domains, from BIOS and other institutions at the University of Novi Sad, primarily with engineering backgrounds.
